Fall 2026 - Winter 2027

     - Draft Initial Minds Not Missiles Legislation

Spring 2027 - Summer 2027

     - Circulate supporting resolutions to selected NEA and AFT State chapters, as well as selected national scholarly and professional societies;

     - Recruit initial Congressional Co-sponsors;

Summer 2027;

     - Convene Expanded Legislative Drafting Assembly;

     - Generate revised Minds not Missiles Legislation;

     - Recruit House members to a Fund HIgher Education Caucus;

Fall 2027

     - Circulate to progressive candidates in House races for inclusin as planks intheir campaign platforms;

Winter 2028

     - Launch effort to bring legislation to the relevant Committees and to the floor;
